The Centre offers a bathing and shower service for people who are unable to bathe or shower without help, due to illness, frailty, or disability. There is a heated bathroom with the following facilities:

• Walk in shower and shower seat

• Adjustable height bath

• Adjustable height bath seat

• Bidet

• Washbasin

• Toilet

 

All of these have grip handles and the floor is non-slip.

Service users have to be able to take their own weight, with a care worker’s help and to stand and transfer from the wheelchair to the shower or bath seat.

The Centre provides towels, flannels, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, bath cream and shower gel, shaving foam and razors.
